We are a Bible based Oromo language (Afaan Oromoo) speaking church serving Oromos in Dallas and surrounding cities. Come join us every Sunday from 9:30am to 11:30am. Our physical address is 1109 Clint Street, Carrollton, TX 75006.
About
The Dallas Oromo Evangelical Church began as a gathering of Oromo language speaking brothers and sisters in Christ from Dallas and surrounding cities. Then under the sponsorship of Forest Meadow Baptist Church, it grew into an Evangelical Baptist Church. Eventually the church bought its own building located at the above address, and it has been worshiping in this building since February 29, 2023.
Our Mission
Our mission is to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to every nation, beginning with our Oromo language (Afaan Oromoo) speaking brothers and sisters. As the word of God told us, you are the light of the world and let your light shine.
Core Values
With the help of God we are here to proclaim the Good News “Jesus is the only way and truth and life” for those who believe in him to live eternal life. Our strategy is to teach every existing and new members to become a disciple of the gospel to perform the evangelistic approach.
